Damon Motor Coach announced they are participating in the Partners in Progress meeting for the first time ever this year. The meeting will take place at the RVDA Convention in Las Vegas on Thursday September 27, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. Nate McClain of McClain’s RV Superstore with dealerships in Texas and Oklahoma will be moderating the meeting.
Over the last couple of years Damon has made a dramatic turnaround. Damon officials attribute their recent success to product innovation, developing a number of industry-leading breakthroughs such as the bunkhouse, front kitchen and five slide floor plans and the popular Outlaw toyhauler. These and other innovations have enabled Damon to increase market share in a down motorhome market.
“We are gaining dealer’s confidence and support. Our innovative ideas are getting great acceptance and are being copied by other manufacturers. Our quality continues to improve and our back end support is quickly becoming one of our strengths,” said Bill Fenech, President of Damon. “Looking into the future, we still have a ways to go, but I feel very confident that if we keep developing hot products and providing excellent quality and support, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be number one.”
Damon Motor Coach, located in Elkhart, Ind., manufactures a full line of affordably-priced, high-quality Class A motorhomes including the Astoria and Tuscany diesel pushers and the gas-powered Daybreak and Challenger, plus the popular new Outlaw Toyhauler. Damon is a subsidiary of Thor Industries, Inc., Jackson Center, Ohio (NYSE: THO), the world’s largest manufacturer of recreation vehicles.
