Stylish diesel pusher has highest market share gain in category.
Damon Motor Coach has announced that the company’s market share for their top-of-the-line Class A diesel pusher, the Tuscany, is up 58.5 percent - according to a year-to-date industry market share report filed by Statistical Surveys, Inc. The survey was conducted between January and July 2007.
The growth rate of 58.5 percent for Damon’s Tuscany is in sharp contrast to a 3.3 percent decrease in retail sales among Class A motorhomes. The survey also revealed Tuscany’s growth was the largest of diesel Class A motorhomes represented in the survey, based on the top 45 models.
“Seeing this survey is a great affirmation of the hard work and dedication exhibited on a daily basis by everyone in the Damon family,” said Dave Miller, Vice President of Diesel Sales & Product Development at Damon. Miller believes the momentum of the Tuscany has been fueled by the combination of floorplans, style and price, “The Tuscany is designed to provide the roomiest, most comfortable, most convenient travel living experience you’ve ever had, without breaking the bank.” Miller added that as he looks ahead he feels extremely confident that the Tuscany will continue to be successful.
Damon Motor Coach, located in Elkhart, Ind., manufactures a full line of affordably-priced, high-quality Class A motorhomes including the Astoria and Tuscany diesel pushers and the gas-powered Daybreak and Challenger, plus the popular new Outlaw Toyhauler.
